# Lightspeed

||| Stedger is only supported for Lightspeed C-series.

### Creating an API key in Lightspeed

1. Go to Settings > Store Settings > Developers.

2. Select New API key. 

3. Enter a name for the API key - this can be anything that helps you identify it being used for Stedger.

4. Select Save.

5. Under SETTINGS, select the switch to enable the API key.

6. Select all checkboxes to give full permission (required).

7. Select Save. Under DETAILS, the API key will display.

8. Select Show to display the API secret. Make sure you copy the API secret for the next step.

Now that your API user has been created, it's time to link it to Stedger.

### Connect shop to Stedger

1. Click **Settings** in the left-hand menu.

2. Click **New App **in the bottom of the Settings page.

3. Choose **Lightspeed** in the pop up.

4. Choose your primary shop language.

5. Enter your new API secret and API Key and click Install App : Install.
