What are dropship products in Stedger?

Dropship products are products that can be shipped directly from a supplier to your customers.
Stedger automatically updates stock, places orders and sends Track&Trace - so you don't have to do anything other than choosing what products to sell.

What happens when dropship products become unavailable?

Besides no longer being in stock, dropship products can become unavailable in two cases:

If the product can no longer be dropshipped, but still can be bought wholesale.

If the product is completely discontinued by the supplier.

In either case, Stedger will automatically set the stock to 0 (or if you use the option to "Enable/disable backorders", ordering will be disabled).

How much extra does it cost to dropship a product?

This varies for each supplier. In the end, it is the supplier's responsibility to provide the correct price and agree with you on the correct terms.

Usually a dropship fee is either added to each product or to each shipment from a specific supplier.
