Automatic price list

Automatic price lists is the fastest and easiest way to create price lists for different zones or retailers.

Please note, that you can only set up general rules, that apply to all products. If you have custom rules for different products you need to create a manual price list

Automatic price lists will follow your masterdata. This means an automatic price list always updates whenever you update your prices with Stedger. This ensures prices are always correctly displayed and updated with the retailers assigned to it.

This guide will be split up in the following:

Creating an automatic price list

Setting up rules for automatic price list

Create an automatic price list

Go to "Product library" and click on "Price lists".

Click "+ Add price list" in the top right corner.

Type a name and choose the currency and shipping zones (You can add multiple). Click "Create price list".

Only orders from chosen zones can be forwarded by a retailer.

Choose "Automate from data". Now you need to set up rules for the automation. Click "Generate list" once ready.

See more about setting up rulest below.

Now you're ready to share the price list.

Setting up rules for price list automation

You now get a pop up, where you will see the following:

Example 1
The overview is split up in 3 columns being:

Variant example. Here you can search for a specific product you wish to work with. It is also here to the right of "Pricing" you choose the currency the rules should apply to.

You can only choose an input currency, you have available in your masterdata in Stedger.

Rules. Here you can set up the rules for this price list.

Result. Here you can see the result of the rules.

In the Example 1 image above, you can see we have entered your default Trade price, Dropship fee, RRP, Dropshipping rules and Purchase order rules. This is why the example product is the same as the result.

But all fields can be edited, and rules can be set up, like equations in excel.

For instance if you want your TradePrice to be half of your RRP, you type: RRP * 0.5 in the TradePrice field:

Example 2
You also have the option to use free text. For instance in the Example 2 image above, you can see the Dropship fee* says "None" in both the variant example and result.

This is because the data entered by default does not have a dropship fee for the products. You can simply type in a number for the dropship fee, and it will be displayed for the retailers as you can see by the result product:
